Joey Jones, President and CEO of Aerotech Machining, has been honored as one of Georgia’s Most Influential Leaders. Jones was one of 500 leaders from throughout the state highlighted in Georgia Trend Magazine’s GEORGIA 500 / Georgia’s Most Influential Leaders 2025.
According to Georgia Trend, the GEORGIA 500 is a “selection of the greatest non-elected leaders in our state,” adding that “many factors go into the selection process because we have so many leaders working together to promote economic development and quality of life in Georgia.”
Jones launched Aerotech Machining in 1992 in Bloomingdale, GA. Georgia Trend explained how Jones founded the company “to provide high-precision parts for aerospace, agriculture, power generation and railway industries…and under his leadership, Aerotech has grown into a modern facility with more than 40 computer numerical control machines and two flexible manufacturing systems.” Georgia Trend also noted that “Jones believes success comes from hard work and dedication. That belief drives the company’s commitment to quality and innovation in everything it produces.”
Georgia Trend added that Jones also focuses on workforce development. “He has created training and apprenticeship programs to help workers manage new systems and grow their skills.”
